1930s Large Vellum Travel Case

This is an exceptional piece of luggage from the 1930s, vellum, from the Old French Vélin, for "calfskin". The condition is beautiful due to it being kept in its canvas case all these years, there are a few minor marks but all adding to the charm and patina. The details on the reinforced corners are incredible, the stitching is excellent. The polished steel locks are in perfect working order and the lock is usable and has its original key attached.
