1950s Ruched Taffeta and Velvet New Look Dress

This dress has the most incredible shape, it reminds me of an old fashioned hot air balloon. The work in the ruched sections is beautiful. Vintage 1950s, from the USA and in very good condition, some tiny marks (unnoticeable) on the taffeta and one tiny area of velvet has been repaired (neatly). You will need a crinoline / petticoat to make the skirt full...has a nice long side zip.
