A lovely 1920s velvet moire silk dress, French. Simple and elegant flapper shape. Beautiful daisy and geomentric pattern, I believe the technique used for this effect is acid on the fabric to burn away parts of the velvet to leave a pattern. The photo here really does not do the dress justice. Lined in black silk.
