Samaya launched her vintage clothing business in 2004 after building up an extensive personal collection of couture & design focused pieces. Her eye for unusual pieces soon caught the attention of some very influential figures in fashion, and her London vintage stand was visited regularly by designers, stylists and costumiers searching for inspiration, as well as individuals looking for one-off pieces to wear. Visitors to Samaya Ling Vintage include: Maria Grazia Chiuri (Dior), Daniela Kamiliotis (Ralph Lauren), New York Vintage, Anthropologie, Paco Delgado, Burberry, Reiss, Jigsaw, Abercrombie & Fitch, Paul Smith, Jill Stuart (NYC), Kinder Aggugini and ASOS. Samaya also runs a very lovely airbnb in her home town of Bristol, as well as studying an MA in Arts Management. Since lockdown the stock on Samaya Ling Vintage has been changing to include slow fashion items alongside the vintage pieces, such as Greek cotton dresses and Ghanaian woven goods. The new website will have pieces for the home too, old and new and always from a sustainable source. Feel free to get in touch with Samaya via the contact page, her instagram or in person at one of the Frock Me Vintage shows. A big thank you to Elena and Matthew at Frock Me for all the beautiful photos of our stand that are featured on the home page. Also, last but not least! a massive thank you to Edy B for making this new website and for all the years of hard work. Edy just received a first in her Graphic Design degree at Camberwell and is an amazing asset to any project, email Samaya for an introduction / her instagram details.
