The watermelon lame dress, the only one we have ever seen! Its a delight to see, and to touch. Bias cut lame flows down the body, shoulders with pleated ruffles, diamond cut bodice to flatter and flow down the the front...then the back: A full pleated ruffle peplum curves over your behind, and down each side at the back "watch me walk away to the dancefloor dress". An absolutely stunning and rare 1930s dress.
((When I get married it will be in lame. The photos here don't quite show how incredible this colour is, its almost like fine leather, wet look, inside of a cherry, juicy ripe watermelon with a metallic shine catching light.))
Condition: Very good / excellent, no tarnish on lame, no holes, one small area showing age under the right arm (not noticeable) and a couple of tiny loose threads here and there on darts.
Measurements: Bust: up to 30 inches / 76.2 cm Waist: 28 inches / 71.1 cm Hips: 38 inches / 96.5 cm Overall length: 66 inches / 167.6 cm
(A note on measurements: All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and are as exact as possible. Sometimes we may put in sleeve and or neck measurements as these can be very small on vintage garments. Please ensure that you check all dimensions carefully with your own body measurements before placing your order. To do this you could compare the measurements against something of your own that fits well :-)
